Castleway Nursery School Admissions
Applications for Castleway Nursery School are welcomed from children within our local community and beyond. We welcome applications for the following places:
- Funded 2-year-olds
- Paid 2-year-olds
- 15 hours funded 3 /4-year-olds
- 30 hours funded 3 /4-year-olds
- Paid top up sessions
We welcome visits from families who are interested in a place so please contact us to arrange your visit.

Wirral Council Admissions Procedures & Link to Wirral School Admissions
What if Castleway is full for Foundation 2 places?
If at the end of the Summer Term a school is believed to be full, the Council will close the procedures and make no more reallocations. However, it may be that places will become available at the beginning of or during the Autumn Term. The Council will keep a list of children whose parents have expressed an interest in obtaining a place at the school if a place becomes available. In August, the Council will write to the parents of those children who have expressed a continuing interest. This list will be held open during the Autumn Term. Priority on the list will be given to children in accordance with the criteria given in paragraphs 3.1.1 and 3.1.2 of Wirral's 'Co-ordinated Scheme for Admission Arrangements'. Each added child requires the list to be ranked again in line with the published admission criteria.
